Prefabrication is a construction method utilizing indoor environments to create building components, such as structural pieces or entire houses, which are later transported and assembled in the field. These indoor environments create controlled conditions, providing opportunity for better craft, more efficient production, better control of waste and recycling, and less transportation cost and site disruption.
